Sasural Simar Ka actress Sneha Chauhan gets engaged

Sneha Dharam Chauhan, who started her acting journey as a child artiste and has been featured as Simar’s daughter in Sasural Simar Ka 1 and Saavi Ki Savaari, got engaged on February 27 to Rajan Vaghela, a businessman from Vadodara, Gujarat. She says, “The engagement happened in my hometown, Vadodara. It is an arranged match, and I will be getting married in a year.”

The 22-year-old actress adds, “I didn’t want to get involved in a professional setup and was clear about settling with the person of my parents’ choice. They know what’s best for me. I’m glad I found the kind of love I always hoped for in an arranged marriage. In no time, Rajan has become very special to me, and we have fallen in love with each other. He is the best gift my parents have given me so far.”

On the work front, the actress is looking forward to returning with a promising project. “I shall be back soon with a new show. Rajan has watched all my projects and loves my work. He is supportive of my endeavours. He told me that I should never quit working and remain independent. He wants to see on the big screen,” she says with a smile.




Sneha began her journey in showbiz at the age of 11 with reality shows like Boogie Woogie and later appeared in the seventh season of India’s Got Talent. Although she initially aspired to become a choreographer, destiny had other plans, leading her to pursue acting. She has been part of the Gujarati TV show Lakshmi Sadaiv Mangalam and the film Gajab Thai Gayo.

Talking about her last outing on Hindi television, Saavi Ki Savaari, which featured Samridhii Shukla, Farman Haider, Fenil Umrigar, and Aarush Srivastava as central characters, hit the tube in August 2022. It went off air in December 2023 following a run of over a year.
