Sanjana tells
Samir
that she feels something inauspicious is about to happen. She decides to accompany him to the factory and asks him to wait. Samir is seen impatient.
Bhairavi
waits for the bomb to blast and Sanjana to die.
Simar
and others in the family rush to the outhouse to save her. Sanjana shouts when the explosion happens. Bhairavi thinks her plan has worked. But just then Simar enters and slaps her. She tells her that Sanjana is alive. However, her own son died in the blast.
Unable to forgive herself for the crime, Bhairavi decides to kill herself. When she is about to set herself on fire, Samir stops her and questions her for such an inhuman act. He also tells everyone how Sanjana saved him from dying.
Samir refuses to accept Bhairavi as his mother and decides to sever all ties with her. He asks her to go away from them and learn something from Simar. Bhairavi asks Simar and others to tell Samir not to be indifferent to her and that she will change for the better. But no one listens to her.
Later, Samir is upset when Simar comes to him. She tells him to talk to Bhairavi and see if she is genuinely sorry for her behaviour.
