Shalin Bhanot recalls recent heartbreak after dating ‘someone special’; says, “It really affected me a lot”

Shalin Bhanot, who won many hearts with his journey on the reality show Bigg Boss, recently opened up about his life. He appeared on a podcast with Paras Chhabra, where he recalled a recent heartbreak and shared how deeply it affected him. He also spoke about his Bigg Boss journey, his divorce from Dalljiet Kaur, and much more.

He said, “Love is not just the happiness of being with someone. Love is the part of you that genuinely wants the other person’s well-being, even when things don’t go as planned. When you love deeply, a person becomes woven into your daily life, your future plans, your habits, and your identity. That’s why heartbreak hurts so much. It can feel as if a piece of you has left with them.”





He shared that he recently dated someone, but things didn’t work out. “I was recently dating someone, and things didn’t work out. It really affected me a lot. But love is also transformative. Even when a relationship ends, it often leaves behind lessons about yourself, your capacity for care, your vulnerabilities, your needs, and your strengths.”



The actor then added, “One of the hardest truths about love is that the depth of the heartbreak often reflects the depth of the love that existed. The pain eventually fades, but what you learned about loving and being loved tends to stay.”
