Popular actress
Shalini Kapoor will star in upcoming television show, Sirf Tum. The show stars
Vivian Dsena and
Eisha
Singh in the lead roles. The actress, who was last seen in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, will essay Vivian's mother.
She said, "I'm really excited to shoot for the show. I will be seen as Mamta Oberoi, who is the protagonist's mother. My character is very promising and has intense shades of emotions. I'm sure the audience will love me and support me like always. I'm looking forward to a new journey on TV screen."
Shalini, best remembered for her roles in Qubool Hai and
Swaragini, refers to it as a home coming. "I have worked with
Rashmi Sharma
telefilms and the channel before and I am glad and thankful to both for associating with me again. It’s just like home coming for me."
The drama will portray the story of two lovers who are poles apart - Ranveer (Dsena) and Suhani (Singh). "A terrific cast and crew have been assembled for 'Sirf Tum', who are all ready to bring the magic on your TV screens. Years after 'Ishq Ka Rang Safed', it feels amazing to be back once again with Sirf Tum," Eisha said in a statement.
Sirf Tum will be replacing Barrister Babu from 8 November at 8:30 PM.
