“I am stuck at Chandigarh Airport. I traveled from Jaipur to Chandigarh on an IndiGo Airline, and my bags were just offloaded without informing me,” she stated in an accompanying video, adding that her hairdresser’s bag was also removed due to weight restrictions. Expressing her frustration further, Shamita tweeted, “Pardon my French but IndiGo airline, you’re a pretty awful airline to fly on! And the ground staff is totally useless! Think twice before flying on this airline @IndiGo6E #indigo a total no no!”

She added that the airline expected her to wait for the next flight, landing at 10:30 p.m., which was after her event. In response, IndiGo swiftly issued an apology and reached out for more information, tweeting, “Ms Shetty, we apologize for the inconvenience and would like to address the matter. Could you please DM us an alternate contact number and a convenient time for us to reach out?”
