Shefali Jariwala’s sudden demise left her family and friends heartbroken and in shock. After her passing, several speculations surfaced about the reason behind her death. Now, in a podcast with Paras Chhabra, Shefali’s husband, Parag Tyagi, has addressed the controversy surrounding her demise. In the interview, he dismissed the speculations that skipping meals to stay fit and glutathione caused her death.Parag said, "Nothing happens before its time. Time is the biggest power. For months, we used to get regular blood tests and heart check-ups, just like anyone else, and all the reports were always normal. People started saying many things, that we skipped meals or that glutathione caused this. That’s not true. I have used glutathione myself for years and nothing ever happened. These days, it’s very common. People use antioxidants because of pollution and health reasons. Even I take vitamins and antioxidants. There was nothing unusual at all."The actor stated that Shefali passed away due to cardiac arrest and everything happened all of a sudden, "The cardiac arrest happened suddenly, and it can happen to anyone. We had done all the tests, including 2D echo.
No one can predict something like this."Parag narrated what unfolded on the day of Shefali's demise, "That day, I had just come home and was parking my car when I got a call from Shefali saying Ram was feeling tired as there was also a puja at home, so she asked me if I could take our pet Simba for a walk. She told me that Ram will bring Simba down and I did not go up, this is something I regret. Ram brought our pet down. Within minutes, the compounder came downstairs. Soon after, I was told Shefali was having trouble breathing. I ran upstairs immediately and tried CPR, but nothing worked, cardiac arrest gave no time," he said. The Aghori actor also opened up about being trolled after Shefali's death, he said, "Some people on social media tried to blame me, mostly for attention or views. But in real life, no one questioned me.”For the uninitiated, Shefali Jariwala passed away on June 27 due to cardiac arrest. The actress is best remembered for her debut song, Kaanta Laga.
