From quitting Celebrity Masterchef due to injury to later being diagnosed with liver cancer, the last one year has been really tough for television actress
Dipika Kakar. The Sasural Simar Ka actress is recovering well after surgery but has to go through blood tests every three months.
Shoaib Ibrahim recently took to his social media account to update fans about his wife and actress Dipika's health. The Ajooni actor shared that they are currently waiting for Dipika’s blood test results.
He shared, "We went to the hospital for blood samples just yesterday. It’s like we have to go every three months, then every two months. Now reports will come tomorrow
He further said, "It is this time that scares us. I hope, by God’s grace, everything turns out to be fine." Dipika nodded and her eyes reflected a mix of hope and fear.
Dipika and Shoaib have been sharing details of her health journey through their vlogs on their YouTube channel. She has been documenting her health journey, openly sharing her experiences with chemotherapy, the emotional ups and downs she’s faced, and her slow but steady progress toward recovery. Dipika is currently receiving targeted oral therapy as part of her ongoing treatment for liver cancer. This medication aims to lower the chances of the disease returning following her tumour-removal surgery. The treatment involves taking oral tablets. In her videos, the actress has often talked about the side effects such as hair loss, thyroid imbalances, and mouth ulcers.
