Shoaib Ibrahim reveals his father suffered a brain hemorrhage and is admitted to the ICU; says 'He had internal bleeding’

Shoaib Ibrahim recently shared that his father suffered another brain stroke and has been admitted to the ICU. The actor has now shared a new health update through his latest YouTube vlog and revealed that his father suffered a brain hemorrhage and not a stroke. He further shared that his wife, Dipika Kakar, recently underwent a PET scan after doctors detected new cysts. (Photo: Instagram)

It is not exactly a stroke, but a hemorrhage caused by bleeding in the brain

Speaking about his father's health, Shoaib shared a new vlog on Monday, he said, "Most of you already know that we had admitted Papa to the hospital again. He has suffered another brain-related issue. This time, it is not exactly a stroke, but a hemorrhage caused by bleeding in the brain. Right now, many people are asking for an update on Papa’s condition. Honestly, his condition is not better at the moment. (Photo: Instagram)

Lot of bleeding

Last time, when Papa suffered a stroke, there was a clot because of which the left side of his body got paralysed. But he was talking properly then and recovered quite fast. This time, there has been a lot of bleeding in the back part of the brain, because of which he is facing problems with his speech. (Photo: Instagram)

His blood pressure was extremely high

Also the right side of his body, and from what I can understand, he may also be having issues with vision on the right side. One good thing is that since yesterday, his blood pressure has finally come under control. Earlier, it was extremely high. His BP was over 180. Doctors say that it is common to become drowsy when bleeding happens. Papa is not reacting at all. (Photo: Instagram)

Doctors don’t want to rush with things

The swelling has reduced, and they will perform a procedure on his brain. They will make a hole in his skull and remove the blood clots so that it doesn’t spread. They are waiting for the swelling to subside. They don’t want to rush with things, they are closely monitoring him for two days. Along with his regular medication, Papa also used to take a blood thinner, which also became an issue. So they have to wait due to this for 3-4 days. (Photo: Instagram)

We just need courage to handle this difficult situation together

I feel this is a phase where God is testing all of us. We are trying to stay strong and keep faith that, Inshallah, everything will eventually be fine. Right now, we just need courage to handle this difficult situation together. It will all be well in the end. We are all very emotional. I don’t like seeing him in this state. (Photo: Instagram)

Don't want my mother to see papa in this condition

In the vlogs, you must have seen that we all treated him like a child; we pamper him. At the moment, Papa is not reacting much, which is making things very hard for all of us emotionally. I have not called my mother to the ICU because I do not want her to see him lying in that condition. Saba is with me, and Dipika went to see him once. (Photo: Instagram)

When I first saw him, he was trying to say something, but his speech was not clear

This happened on Saturday morning, the previous night we all sat together. Papa saw his IPL match. He saw a new film. He watches film and completes in four days. He woke up at 3:30 am to go to the washroom, but around 8 am, when he woke up, he was in this condition. When I first saw him, he was trying to say something, but his speech was not clear, so I understood this was the case. (Photo: Instagram)

Shoaib urges fans to pray for him

Then we brought him to the hospital, and learned that he had internal bleeding. I will keep you posted on his health. I have requested that anyone who has gone for Hajj please pray for him and Dipika there. It is very important for us. (Photo: Instagram)

Dipika's PET scan

Dipika also has a PET scan today, and we are tense about it. We have to go around 1 PM. I have booked a hotel near the hospital where my father is admitted. As he is in ICU, we can't stay there, once he get shifted to normal ward. As we told you earlier, the MRI had shown some signs to worry. (Photo: Instagram)
