Ask Shrashti if she has taken a break from Pandya Store and she says, "I have not taken a break. I enjoy playing Anita in Pandya Store. But, the makers are now focussing only on the family track and they informed me about it. I had a lot of time on hand and felt that I had to do something else rather than sit at home. I got this interesting offer to play a cruel demon in the mythological show and took it up. I am enjoying this role."

Shrashti shares how she enjoys playing both positive and negative roles. She says, "In the past one year, I have played more negative roles. Otherwise earlier I had interesting roles in Adaalat,

Divya Drishti

and Raabta. I am not sure when the makers plan to get back my track on Pandya Store."

Shrashti recently exchanged rings with Karan Vaidya, a tech engineer based in Bangalore, a few months back. The actress will soon have a roka ceremony and will tie the knot in June. Sharing what she likes best about her fiance Karan, Shrashti said, "I always feel friendship is the base of a good relationship. Karan respects my profession and understands its demands. He plans to relocate from Bangalore to Mumbai. I believe two people should be equal in a marriage. I am glad that Karan is a very intelligent man and wants a partner who will not just sit at home."
