as Sheetal Singhania from Lipstick played the antagonists in their respective shows.
Their images as the vamp onscreen is fresh even now. Shweta, Nigaar and Urvashi look extremely glamorous in an all-black outfit. The cover calls them 'Band of Bad Babes' and Shweta took a trip down the memory lane by sharing this picture on her Instagram account. She thanked her in-laws for not judging her by her character in the show and got her married to actor Manish Gohil. Here's what she wrote: "#throwback to the times when “sexy girls didn’t make good bahus” . Thank goodness the Gohils didn't judge the book by it’s cover. Kudos to the girls who flaunt it cause they have it (sic)."
Although these actresses went on to do a variety of roles later in their career, Nigaar Shweta and Urvashi are best remembered for playing Sheetal, Pallavi and Komolika. Kasautii Zindagii Kay got a revamp by its creator Ekta Kapoor and
Hina Khan was pulled in to play this iconic antagonist's character. However, she quit the show midway and
Aamna Sharif has stepped into Komolika's shoes now.
Ekta Kapoor's shows back in the 2000s were known for running several years on the television. And, it had the charisma of every actor in the show, other than only the protagonist and the antagonist to leave an impact on the audience and remember them by their screen names.
