Varun Badola. On the occasion of Daughter's Day, Shweta's daughter Palak released the first promo of the show and it has got the fans excited.
Palak took to her social media account today (22nd September) and posted the teaser of 'Mere Dad Ki Dulhan'. She captioned the teaser of the promo with a sweet caption and stated that her mother Shweta will always be her favourite person to watch on screen.

'Mere Dad Ki Dilhan' is about the bond between a father and his daughter. The daughter decides to find a partner for her father after realising how lonely he is in life.
Recently, the channel had released the behind the scenes video of the promo where Shweta and Varun had spoken about their role.
Shweta, who plays the role of Guneet, says, “The concept of our show is not seen in all households but the problem exists in all households. You can relate to show and hear your friends talk about it. My character is hilarious. I don’t repeat my work. This is something new and you will enjoy.”
Varun Badola says, "This show is going to bring a change in the television industry. Companionship is required at any age and is not restricted to the 18-19 year olds. This show deals with companionship beautifully."
