Shweta Tiwari's second marriage with Abhinav Kohli hits a rough patch; here's looking back at their happier times

Shweta Tiwari's second marriage with Abhinav Kohli has hit troubled waters. On Sunday (August 11), the actress lodged a complaint against her husband for allegedly outraging her daughter Palak's modesty. The 19-year-old is Shweta's daughter from her first marriage with actor Raja Chaudhary. Reports of trouble in Shweta's marriage had surfaced last year, though the actress had quashed them. Palak sheds light on the matter

Considering there was a lot of speculation around Shweta's complaint, Palak took to her social media account to clarify rumours and stated, "Abhinav Kohli has never physically molested me, or touched me inappropriately. However, he did persistently make inappropriate and disturbing remarks the impact of which is only known to my mother and I, and if any woman from any walk of life were to hear them she would be greatly embarrassed and provoked, too." What went wrong

Reportedly, Shweta's marriage hit rock bottom last year. The couple had started to live apart. However, denying the reports, Shweta had said in an interview with BT last year, "I will tell you what really happened. Abhinav’s father passed away the same year I got pregnant. Abhinav’s parents stayed in Bengaluru, so he had to stay there for some time before he could get his mother here. His father was a retired air force officer and his mother owned a publishing company. Abhinav required some time before he could wrap up everything and be in Mumbai with us. He stayed there for almost a year." (Photo: Instagram)

Hi Shweta, Just keep yourself strong and trust me these men don't deserve a bold and beautiful woman like you. Hope you will find peace with yourself as you don't need a man to complete your life. I genuinely feel you are being harsh on yourself, Let it go. And never forget... your fans love you.
