, who began his acting career on TV with 'Mahakumbh - Ek Rahasya Ek Kahaani', is all set to return to the small screen after a gap of two years with a fantasy show. He will be seen playing the title role in the upcoming show 'Aladdin'. The said project, co-produced by
Nissar Parvez
and Alind Srivastava, will feature him in a never-seen-before avatar. Siddharth will be seen in the
Aladdin
costume and will explore the fantasy genre for the first time.
Siddharth, who is excited about his new project, says, "'Aladdin' will show me in a different light from what I have been seen in so far on Indian TV. I have mostly done historical shows and this is the first time I will be exploring fantasy and comedy. I am looking forward to donning the Aladdin avatar. He is one of my favourite animated characters."
According to sources, the makers are currently on the lookout for the girl to feature opposite Siddharth and are in touch with several actress for the coveted part.
