Simaran Kaur: It’s difficult to step out in Delhi summers
Delhi girl Simaran Kaur is a self-confessed foodie, and swears by ‘Dilli ka chatpata khana’. She says that there’s nothing like Delhi food. “Delhi has the best food in the world. I have grown up having Dilli ki chaat, chhole kulche, biryani and my favourite, undoubtedly, are Delhi momos, especially the ones we get in Dilli Haat. Those are so juicy that thinking about them makes me drool. When I moved to Mumbai, I used to search for momos everywhere but couldn’t find Delhi-good momos there. We have momo bhaiyas at every nook and corner in Delhi, but it wasn’t that common in Mumbai then, so every time I would come to Delhi, I would make sure to have momos,” she tells us.
Though the actress likes Delhi food better, she prefers Mumbai summers over Dilli ki garmi. She says, “Garmi toh dono jagah hai, but Mumbai summers are still tolerable because of the sea. Wahan ki hawa thodi thandi hai, comparatively. Delhi ki garmi toh bahut zyada garam hoti hai (laughs). It’s so difficult to even step out in Delhi these days.”

Looks are secondary for me; I want my person to be righteous, compassionate and kind. He should be a good listener, too (smiles),” she shares.Top Comment
