Surveen Chawla is all set to embrace motherhood in April. The actress is expecting her first child with husband Akshay Thakker and she always manages to turn heads with her impeccable style. Recently, the actress had a traditional baby shower ceremony. The mommy-to-be looked radiant and gorgeous in a golden yellow saree.
Surveen's family hosted the grand celebration for her. The gorgeous actress shared a few pictures of herself on Instagram from her
Godh Bharai
ceremony. In the pictures, the mommy-to-be is seen sporting a yellow saree with a pink blouse. The actress was seen flaunting her baby bump in style. She captioned the pictures as, “The Godh Bharai “ for the little angel... A very very very special and big thank u to the following wonderful people for putting this memorable evening together".

A few days ago, Surveen had a pyjama themed baby shower party that was attended by her girlfriends.
On the personal front, Surveen got married to longtime boyfriend Akshay Thakker in Italy in 2015. The two kept their marriage a secret from everyone until December 2017. Surveen later announced the news of her marriage by posting a picture from her D-Day.
Earlier while talking to Bombay Times, Surveen had talked about motherhood, she had then said, “It’s a beautiful feeling and more so, as it has come completely unexpected for Akshay and me. Suddenly, life has become beautiful. I am looking forward to every step now. Of course, it’s unfamiliar territory, but the only one that comes with a guarantee of being wonderful. Akshay and I feel really blessed!”
