Inspector Pandey
telling everyone that he will search everyone's house. Society members tell
Popatlal
that he is creating a ruckus. Popatlal tells the members that he assured Inspector Pandey, Gokuldham wasis have not taken the box of mangoes.
Popatlal pleads to
Chalu Pandey
to help him solve this case, so that he gets married. Harish says he will give the box if Popatlal gives him Rs. 4000.
Bapuji says he will give the money and asks Popatlal to end the matter. Popatlal is reluctant to pay. Harish says, he along with Inspector Pandey will go to Popatlal's house to see if he doesn't create any other problem.
Bhide is angry that Popatlal called the cops without informing the society's secretary. Chalu Pandey doubts Bhide and calls him.
Chalu Pandey appreciates Popatlal that despite being a bachelor he has well-maintained the house. The box of mangoes is found in Popatlal's house.
Inspector Pandey asks Popatlal for how long he has been in this profession (robbery). Popatalal mistakes it for journalism. Popatlal is unable to understand what Chalu is trying to say.
Popatlal is shocked to see the box of mangoes in his house. He defends himself. Popatlal says had he been the culprit, why would he call him in the first place.
Inpector Chalu Pandey asks Popatlal to come along. Popatlal pleads that Pooja is waiting for him and he should spare him.
