Kajol and
Ajay Devgn dance with the residents of Gokuldham. Before leaving, Kajol goes to pick her phone from the table but finds it missing. Ajay calls on her number but it's switched off.
Gokuldham residents begin to look for it. They are unable to find it. Popat wonders if it has got stolen by someone. Others ask him not to jump to conclusions. They all wonder where it could have gone. Eventually, it's derived that the phone has been stolen.
Bhide makes an announcement and asks the thief to surrender before they take action. Bapu ji assures Kajol she'd find her phone. She tells him it had her personal information and some photographs.
Jethalal
then threatens to call the police. He counts till 3 but when no one comes forward, Bhide calls the police.
Bhide tells Inspector
Chalu Pandey
to come to Gokuldham society. The latter refuses to as he is always troubled by the residents. Bhide tells him that Kajol, who has come to their society as a special guest, has lost her phone.
Chalu Pandey gets excited to hear about Kajol, and decides to head to Gokuldham with his team. When he reaches there, everyone complains about the missing phone. They worry about their society's reputation.
Chalu Pandey begins to praise Ajay as a cop in films. He then gets on stage and asks the thief to surrender. But when no one comes forward, inspector Pandey decides to search everyone.
Just then, Tapu comes and gives Jethalal's phone back to him. That's when it hits Jethalal that he picked Kajol's phone by mistake.
Jethalal goes to Mehta and tells him his problem. He shows him the phones, and how similar they are. Mehta asks Jethalal why he comes to him only with all his problems. Jethalal tells him because he is his fire brigade.
