Ka Ooltah Chashmah, was blessed with a baby girl on 30th November last year. The actress, who is currently on a break and is enjoying her motherhood phase made a special visit to the holy shrine Tirupati Balaji with the newborn. Disha was accompanied by her husband Mayur Padia.


The actress shared a picture from the visit on her Instagram account and captioned the picture as: May God bless our child and protects her from every obstacle.❤

Disha Vakani was blessed with a baby girl in November last year. The actress, who had tied the knot with Mumbai-based Chartered Accountant Mayur Padia in November 2015, shot for the show almost throughout her pregnancy period. It's only on her doctor's advice that she took a break. Her mother-in-law had reportedly accompanied her to the shoots to look after her. Ardent fans of the actress have been missing her on the show and are anxiously waiting for her return. Disha also seems to be missing shooting for the show as in the recent past she has posted many pictures with her co-star Dilip Joshi on her Instagram account. Recently, she had also wished him on his birthday.



On Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, that has been on the air since 2008, Daya is shown as the mother of Tappu (played by Raj Anadkat) and TV actor Dilip Joshi plays her husband, Jethalal Champaklal Gada.
