In a show filled with loud voices, fast reactions, and constant power plays, Digvijay Rathee has taken a very different route on The 50. While many contestants rely on aggression or fights for visibility, Digvijay has chosen calm over chaos. That quiet confidence has slowly turned him into one of the most noticeable faces on the reality show.
What makes Digvijay’s journey interesting is not just how he plays the game, but how deeply he seems to process the experience. Rather than treating the show as a stepping stone to fame, he appears to see it as a test of patience, emotional control, and self-understanding.

When the topic of reality television changing lives comes up, Digvijay doesn’t romanticise the format. For him, the cameras don’t create a new personality; they strip away the layers people usually hide behind.
“Reality TV doesn’t change you, it exposes you. It forces you to face your triggers, your strengths, and even your responsibilities,” he shared.
According to him, reality television can have a profound effect but only if contestants allow themselves to grow rather than just survive. He asserts that when one stops acting for the camera and begins to be honest with oneself, growth occurs.
That sense of honesty also defines the values Digvijay refuses to bend, regardless of how high the stakes get. When asked what he will never compromise on, his answer comes without hesitation. “My self-respect, honesty, and loyalty towards my people and principles come first. These are non-negotiable for me,” he said.
Digvijay also feels that silence can be more powerful than words and stated, "Silence can protect your energy and speak volumes when words only add noise." He also feels that real bonds do take time in building, "I feel real bonds deserve patience because I have messed up a couple of times. So, I take my time now."
Digvijay constantly acts in accordance with his words, whether it's through his handling of conflict or his preference for moderation over reaction. As the show goes on, viewers are reminded that sometimes strength doesn't have to be loud to be powerful by this grounded, unvarnished approach.
