The stage is set as the countdown for the launch of 'The 50' has begun. The show which has been in the news for the last few months, brings together some of the biggest celebrities from the showbiz industry under one roof. The 50 will see 50 celebrities called 'players' competing against each other. The show is the Indian adaptation of the global reality show Los 50, which is based on the French format Les Cinquante. The reality series brings together 50 celebrity contestants who face off inside a grand palace-like setting in Mumbai.

Some of the popular contestants who have been finalised for 'The 50' are Karan Patel, Prince Narula, Yuvika Chaudhary, Divya Agarwal, Mr Faisu, Rajat Dalal, Urvashi Dholakia, Ridhi Dogra, Shiv Thakare, Digvijay Singh Rathee, hrutika Arjun, Chahat Pandey, and others.
The 50 Format
What sets The 50 apart is its unique elimination format. Unlike typical reality shows, it does not follow predictable rules or standard elimination patterns. The show mainly focuses on two key elements, which include: players coming up with unique strategies, battle with each other physically demanding tasks and form strong alliances.
The 50: Set of the show
For this highly competitive show, the sets of 'The 50' have been constructed in Mumbai's Madh Island area. A massive, castle-style palace has been specially constructed for the show. The reality show doesn't have a kitchen concept and the players will be delivered cooked food. Apart from different bedrooms, a spacious living room area, the set of the show has a huge game arena where the players will be seen face-off with each other in intense tasks.
Fights between contestants of the 50
The show, which started shooting a few days ago, has already witnessed several fights. Recently, a few promos of the show were released by the makers on their social media accounts where the contestants were seen getting into aggressive fights. The first promo showed Karan Patel and Siddharth Bharadwaj. In the video, Karan warned Siddharth to not come in front of him while he is performing a task. He even threatened to break his bones. In another promo, friends turned rivals, Rajat Dalal and Digvijay Singh Rathee were seen in loggerheads. Their fight got out of control when Rajat got violent with Digvijay and pushed him hard. The fight was so aggressive that all the contestants rushed in support of Digvijay. There was another fight between Sapna Choudhary and Adnaan Shaikh. Sapna lost her cool when Adnaan and others tried to dominate her. In the video, Sapna is seen schooling Adnaan and saying, “Tu soch raha hai chadh ke aayega do log toh kuch bolungi nahi.” Adnaan, too, responds angrily to her remarks.

However, as per the format of the show, there will be no host on the show and Farah and Ajay Devgn were only roped in to promote the show.
