The 50: Vanshaj Singh reacts to Ridhima Pandit’s legal notice, says, “Dekh li meri aukaat kya hai”
Vanshaj Singh and Ridhima Pandit's fight which started inside the reality show 'The 50' is far from getting over. After being subjected to trolling and social media harassment from Vanshaj's side, Ridhima decided to take a stand and filed a complaint against him. She sent a legal notice to her co-contestant Vanshaj Singh over alleged online harassment. The 22-year-old YouTuber has now responded publicly on social media and has reacted to the allegations, defending himself.
The rivalry started on the show where they two got into a heated argument. After exiting the show, Vanshaj took to his social media account to share Instagram stories against Ridhima Pandit. The actress recently took legal action against Vanshaj Singh. She has claimed that comments he made about her on the show triggered online trolling from his followers. She alleged that the situation became so serious that she started receiving abusive messages and even ra*e threats online.
Now, reacting to Ridhima's legal notice, Vanshaj posted a video clip from The 50 on his social media account. Along with the video, he wrote, “Me after 1 legal notice by Ridhima best actress in the world." In the clip, he spoke about the controversy and talked about the arguments and conversations that happened during the show.
He further presented his side of the story, “Main ek reality show mein jaata hoon, wahan pe mujhe dhappa, aukaat kya hai, badtameez ye sab bola gaya. Maine respond kiya ‘aunty’ bol ke…Mere ko legal notice bhej diya."
Vanshaj went on to allege that the legal notice accused him of spreading hate against Ridhima Pandit online. However, he denied the claim and explained that he had only been posting clips from the show’s episodes on his social media pages. He said, "Agar aap usme bure dikh raha ho to shayad aap bure ho."
He denied spreading hatred towards Ridhima or encouraging harassment. He also pointed out a comment Ridhima had made on the show for him, he said, “Aapne mujhe kaha tha na ki teri aukaat kya hai, phir aap jab show se bahar aaye aapne dekh li meri aukaat kya hai. To isme meri kya galti hai."
Despite receiving the legal notice, Vanshaj Singh said he would keep speaking openly and would not feel pressured by it. He ended his video by saying, “Mujhe farak bhi nahi padta,” while making a gesture towards those criticising him."
