Shraddha Jaiswal entered the fictional drama Sasural Simar Ka 2 last month in to play the role of Lavanya, a naagin. But the show wrapped up in 15 days. The actress was disappointed at first, but soon she bagged a role in Bhagya Lakshmi. She will be seen essaying the role of Mohit Malhotra's sister-in-law in the show.
Talking about it, she says, "Earlier I was playing a strong negative role in Sasural Simar Ka 2, but the show wrapped up. I had an amazing experience working on that show and I really wanted the show to run longer. But I am glad that I immediately bagged another role in Bhagya Lakshmi. In fact, the last day of SSK2 was my first day on the set of Bhagya Lakshmi. I had mixed feelings on the day. The cast of Bhagya Lakshmi has been really welcoming towards me. My character's name is Saloni... I am playing Vikrant's bhabhi in the show."
It is a cameo and Shraddha is looking forward to the audience's reaction. She says, "As of now, this role is a cameo for four months. But it also depends on how the audience reacts to my role and the track of the show. With a good response and ratings, it can also become a permanent role. It all depends on the reaction of the viewers. But I am glad to have taken up this role because it is an interesting character and I have worked with this production house earlier."
Shraddha has earlier appeared in TV shows such as Gustakh Dil, Shastri Sisters and Madhubala.
