The Great Indian Kapil Show 4: Kapil Sharma teases Navjot Singh Sidhu with Malaika Arora's name; jokes 'he matches clothes with Malaika'
The Great Indian Kapil Show season 4 started on a grand note with global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas gracing the premiere episode of the show. For the second episode, the makers roped in India's women cricket team and the girls were a laughing riot. Now, the latest episode featured Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, who came to promote their film Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. The stars opened up about their film, family, personal life and more.
During the episode, host Kapil Sharma cracked a hilarious punch. He joked about watching a reel on Instagram where someone claimed that if you chant, "Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri," 108 times, you'll find true love. However, when he showed the reel to Navjot Singh Sidhu, he dismissed it calling it baseless and that the former cricketer had tried it.
Kapil then joked that ever since Sidhu joined Archana Puran Singh on the show, they have been colour coordinating. He says, "The yellow in his turban matches the yellow accents in Archana's outfit."
He then pulled Sidhu's leg and stated, "He adds extra colours to his attire to coordinate with Malaika Arora's outfits as well."
The episode also saw Kartik and his family visiting the show. The Bollywood star's sister, who recently got married, came on the show with her husband. Kapil was seen interacting with Kartik's brother-in-law and asked them about their love story. Kapil also asked Kartik whether playing a wedding planner on screen proved useful during his sister’s wedding. Kartik replied, "I attended the wedding as a guest. My mom and Kittu herself took care of all the wedding arrangements. But I performed a dance at the wedding and didn't charge a single penny."
When Kapil asked, "Would you take money from your brother-in-law?" Kartik's sister responded, "Joota Churayi ka neg isko he mila tha saara...(He scored the reward for stealing the groom's shoes.)"
Kartik added, "That was all that was up for grabs so I went for it."
