The Great Indian Kapil Show 4: Priyanka Chopra calls Kapil Sharma’s wife Ginni Chatrath as he flirts with her; actor reveals how he saved her number

The Great Indian Kapil Show returned with its fourth season and kicked off on a high note as global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas graced the premiere episode. The episode started with Kapil Sharma's comedy gag and his hilarious punchlines left the audiences in splits of laughter. Later, Priyanka made a grand entry like an Indian princess. She looked stunning in a floral attire.

During the episode, Kapil went all out in expressing his admiration for PeeCee and even indulged in some playful flirting. However, Priyanka had a clever response that left him stunned when she dialed his wife, Ginni Chatrath, to jokingly complain about his flirting.


It all started when Priyanka showed a photo she posted on Instagram while flying to India for TGIKS shoot and Kapil's response to the Instagram story. He responded saying that he had sent his wife shopping.

Priyanka remarked, “Ye banda kabhi badlega nahi,” and then asked Kapil to call his wife, Ginni Chatrath. When she teased him about how her number was saved on his phone, Kapil revealed that he had saved it as “Asli Waali.”

Priyanka called Kapil’s wife and complained about his flirting. In response, Ginni revealed that Kapil had lied to her, claiming he was going for a shoot with Anup Jalota. Ginni expressed that she is relieved that her husband was flirting with Priyanka Chopra.

She says, "Haan yaar flirt ka iska thoda chakkar hai, Thank god he is flirting with you because he just starts flirting with anyone." Responding to Ginni, Priyanka says, "Kapil teri biwi bol rahi hai meri wajah se tera standard increase hogaya."

Priyanka jokingly scolded Kapil and asked him to value his wife and complimented Ginni for her being beautiful. To this Kapil jokes, "Dusri ki biwi sabko khubsurat lagtu hai." When Kapil tried to cut the call, Ginni warned him and said, "Come home Kapil, I'll talk to you then."

A light flirt is quickly followed by a self-check, as he jokes about flirting on the show and says “idhar subtitles aata hai… kahin Nick padh na le.” Priyanka responds with easy confidence, saying, “Nick ko aadat hai… usko pata hai sab mujhse flirt karte hai, lekin main ghar toh wahi jaati hoon” (Touché PC, touché). As the banter flows into romance, she adds that while she knew Nick’s songs, it was seeing him in one particular video that made her think, “abhi toh date pe jaana padega.”
