The Great Indian Kapil Show 4: Shahid Kapoor jokes about fans' reaction to sitting between Tripti Dimri and Avinash Tiwary; says 'Now I’ll have to deal with memes for sure'

The Great Indian Kapil Show season 4 welcomed the team of O Romeo starring Shahid Kapoor, Tripti Dimri, Avinash Tiwary and Farida Jalal. Film's director Vishal Bharadwaj also accompanied the cast of the show to promote their film. During one of the segments, host Kapil Sharma asked Avinash about the secret behind doing back-to-back films with Tripti Dimri. He joked, "Aapne Tripti ke saath Laila Majnu kari, Bulbul kari aur ab O Romeo kar rahe ho, aap apne career ke peeche bhaag rahe ho yaa Tripti ke peeche bhag rahe ho? Ye ittefaq ke peeche ki wajah kya hai?"In his response, Avinash shared, "Some of our stars have aligned, I guess. Three films done, and hopefully many more to come."Shahid quickly responded with a hilarious punchline, "Yeh na aapke show ke baad bohot hone waala hai ke Laila Majnu ke beech ye O Romeo kyu baith gaya. After this episode airs, there’s going to be one big question—why did O Romeo sit between Laila and Majnu? When I sat there, I thought, ‘I’m seated all wrong.’ Now I’ll have to deal with memes for sure. But what can I do? I’ve come dressed as O Romeo, while these two have been Laila and Majnu for years!” Kapil Sharma immediately adds to the joke, teasing Avinash by saying, “Planning leke chal raha hai ladka.”During another conversation, host Kapil Sharma casually asked Shahid if after marriage with Mira Rajput, he still gets messages from girls in his DMs. Reacting to this with a smile, he said, “Abhi hum piche Bacchon ki baat kar rahe the aur tum, ye sab pooch rahe ho."Kapil joked, "Bacchon ka kya hai, woh toh itne chote chote se hain."Shahid interrupted, "Arre par unki mummy ko pata chal jaata hai yaar, woh bahot badi hogayi hain...(the mother of my children comes to know)”.The joke left everyone is splits of laughter. Meanwhile, Shahid recalled about his first crush and shared how he once wrote the girl's name on his hand using a compass. However, it turned septic later.
