Akshay Kumar. He recently graced the finale of the show and gave fans a great time with his fun personality. Akshay not only discussed the firing attack at
Kapil Sharma’s café in Canada but also spoke about
Archana Puran Singh’s fee and whether it crashed after the show shifted to OTT.
It started with Akshay opening up about how quickly the season passed. Akshay shared, “I didn’t realise when three seasons flew by. First of all, he works at a rapid pace – in only a year and a half, he wrapped up three seasons, and he even had two kids in the same span of time.”
“That was the gap between the two kids,” Kapil shared. “He had two children in that time period, he ought to be in the Guinness Book,” Sidhu said.
He later spoke about the number of shows Kapil used to do earlier and whether the shift to the OTT platform had affected Archana’s fee. “Earlier, he used to do 80 shows. It may not be an issue for him, but Archana ji, earlier with 80 shows, your paycheck was pretty solid. Don’t you think it has dipped a little?” he asked.
“When it comes to remuneration, the OTT platform has been very generous. That’s good to know,” Archana replied. “But her expenses are barely anything. Chaar logon ka toh parivaar hai, baaki 7-8 toh maid hain inki (there are only four members in the family, the rest 7-8 are their maids in the house),” he shared.
Kapil, on the other hand, teased Akshay and said, “Aap talented zyaada ho ke aapki zaruratein zyaada hain (Are you talented, or are your needs just too many)?”
“Why don’t you tell about yourself too? Three seasons of this show on the OTT platform. Before that, he was on Sony. Before that, he was on TV. Now, he is doing two films. Simultaneously, he also launched his restaurant. Moreover, he is earning so much money that gunshots were fired at that restaurant. Are you talented or just full of needs?”
On the work front, Archana won many hearts with her time on The Great Indian Kapil Show, which recently entertained fans with its finale episode. Actor Akshay Kumar had graced the show and entertained the audience.
