Akshay Kumar took over the grand finale of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3, leaving
Kapil Sharma and his entire parivaar speechless while the audience was in splits throughout the episode.
During the episode, Kapil asked Akshay how he manages to excel at both romantic and action scenes with such perfection. Kapil joked, “You are great as an action hero and in romance you seem to have a diploma, have you taken any course?” To this, Akshay gave a witty and heartfelt response, “Yes, it comes from personal experience and that teacher is your wife. Your own wife.”
The lighthearted banter between the two remained a highlight of the evening. Kapil poked fun at Akshay for making an appearance only in the final episode of the season despite his image of being extremely punctual. Akshay was quick to quip, “Arre, mujhe pehle paise nahi mile!”
Their comic exchange didn’t stop there. When Kapil teased him about his never-ending list of films and asked if it reflected “talent” or “zaroorate,” Akshay cleverly turned the tables, “Your show’s been on for three seasons, plus you have two films and now a new café… tu bata, tere talent zyada hai ya zaroorate?”
The finale also celebrated Akshay’s daredevil streak. Legendary directors Mahesh Bhatt and Abbas-Mustan recalled breathtaking moments when Akshay fearlessly performed risky stunts while the entire crew held their breath. Akshay humbly revealed that he has always considered himself “a stuntman first and then an actor.”
In a touching segment, Kapil welcomed a group of stuntmen who have worked with Akshay over the years. Akshay grew emotional and credited them for his success, saying, “Mere liye asli heroes yeh hai… inki wajah se mera career hai.”
The stuntmen then revealed how Akshay has quietly paid the life insurance premiums for every member of their union for years, ensuring their families are protected — a gesture that earned him immense respect and gratitude.
As the laughter-filled episode drew to a close, Akshay launched a Holi-style water balloon fight, drenching Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, and Krushna Abhishek, while the audience roared with laughter.
