Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal recently opened up about their relationship during an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show. Zaheer revealed a good habit of Sonakshi’s—her punctuality—that occasionally annoys him. The episode also featured fun anecdotes, including Sonakshi's mother, Poonam Sinha, playfully revealing how Shatrughan Sinha proposed to her, adding to the laughter. Kapil shared, “Ye dekho ye dono itne shaane hai, Ek baar ek episode me saath me bhi aaye the. Bagal me baethe rahe, kisiko pata nahi chalne diya.” Sonakshi shared, “We left many hints.” Zaheer added, “The last time we came, you had asked her Jiju se kab milaoge and she said, ‘jab main chahu’ and then I enter.”

Zaheer added, “Whatever work we did together, we left hints. One of the films was Jodi Blockbuster, then we did another film Double XL, there’s a scene at last where I address her as girlfriend. So we kept giving hints but didn’t get caught.”

Archana Puran Singh revealed that she had hidden her marriage with Parmeet Sethi for four years. She shared, “4 years of going around and 4 years of marriage. Then when I got pregnant, I said now we should better tell.

When asked who proposed to whom, Shatrughan Sinha said, “She made me propose.” Poonam added, “His brother came to meet my mother. They didn’t want me to get married to an actor.” The Bollywood actor stated, “Her mother said, did you see your brother and look at you… you Bihari, gali ka gunda. Our girl is doodh ki dhuli hui, gori chitti. She is so pretty, Miss India, beautiful. During wedding, even if you click coloured pictures, it will look black and white.

Zaheer says, “It is punctuality. I thought she would be late like her father. But she arrives 10 mins earlier. So that gets stressful for me. But now I am becoming punctual.”
