The Great Indian Kapil Show's Archana Puran Singh fractures her hand while shooting, undergoes surgery; son Aryamann breaks down in tears

Archana Puran Singh posted a new vlog on her prominent YouTube channel, which details her severe injuries. Archana tripped and shattered her wrist while filming a movie with Rajkummar Rao. She also hurt her face from a tumble. She was brought to the hospital, where she healed within a few days and returned to work. She stated in the video that she called Rajkummar and apologised for the delay she had caused in the production, and that she would return as soon as possible because she did not want them to incur further losses.

The vlog begins with actual footage of Archana falling and being hurt early in the morning. While she was off camera, the on-set video captured her crying in pain as she collapsed. Crew members quickly gathered around her and took her to the hospital. Her husband, Parmeet Sethi, was informed about the incident.

Ayushmann then called Aryamann and updated about Archana's accident on the set. He said, "Kuch bohot bura nahi hua hai, but unka haath toot gaya hai. So we need to go the hospital." Aryamann breaks down in tears. Ayushmann consoles him and shares that their mom is fine and she will soon recover."

Archana stated that she refused to let them record her on the first day because she was too frightened up. But she agreed to be recorded later. "She's doing so much chapad-chapad; it means she's fine now," Parmeet laughed, as Archana took in the panorama of Mumbai from her hospital room. She mentioned that she was so impressed that she might simply remain. However, she couldn't afford it because she had unfinished business. Archana opened up about resuming to work the next day as her absence would incur losses to the shoot. “I called Rajkummar Rao and told him that I’m very upset about leaving the shoot. So, today, I’m returning to Virar to complete the shoot, because those poor guys are going to suffer losses otherwise. I’m wearing a full-sleeve outfit, and they’ll shoot me from angles where you won’t be able to tell I’m injured. They’ve told me they need me only for a few hours,” she said.

As she prepared to leave the hospital, Parmeet cracked some dad jokes about leaving her behind and being safe from her whacks. Archana went home and explained, "You may think I'm fine, but I've just had a major operation." She reunited with her sons and stated that she is regaining feeling in her hands. Archana concluded the vlog by stating that everything happens for a purpose and that she will return to work immediately.

Archana shared that she had fallen on her face, but luckily only her lips got swollen and they turned black while her hand was at higher risk of serious injury.
