Wheel of Fortune: Akshay Kumar reveals how Twinkle Khanna shows her anger; ‘Meri side ka bed geela hota hai’
Bollywood's Khiladi Kumar, Akshay is returning to television to host a new game show, Wheel Of Fortune. The actor, who has hosted shows like MasterChef, Khatron Ke Khiladi in the past and was a judge on Laughter Chefs, will now be seen making his comeback on the small screen. Recently, the official Instagram handle of the channel airing the show, released a promo where Akshay was seen sharing a light-hearted tip on married life with Riteish Deshmukh. During their conversation, Akshay revealed how he has mastered the art of saying “sorry” and it is the main reason behind his happy married life.
Riteish Deshmukh, along with his wife Genelia, made an appearance on the first episode of Wheel of Fortune, where they were joined by host Akshay Kumar for a funny and candid conversation. The chat quickly turned entertaining when Akshay and Riteish began sharing amusing incidents related to their wives, filling the episode with warmth, humour, and laughter.
In the promo, Akshay Kumar is seen asking Riteish how long he and Genelia have been together. Riteish replied, “10 years of dating and 14 years of marriage, so it’s been 24 years in total.”
Akshay continued, “25 saal wale ko pooch. Sorry bolna seekho (Ask the person who’s been married for 25 years. You have to learn how to say sorry).” Just then Genelia cracked a hilarious punch as she pointed out that Riteish's name is Sorry Deshmukh. She said, “Ye toh sorry Deshmukh hai.” This left everyone burst into laughter.
Akshay went on to share more details about his arguments with wife Twinkle Khanna, saying, “Meri biwi ka alag hai (My wife has a different way). If my wife is angry with me, I will get to know that when I come to sleep at night, because when I go to sleep, I find out that my side of the bed is completely wet, she throws water on it. ”
Riteish could not control himself and laughed his heart out saying, “I love Tina (Twinkle's birth name)”
Wheel of Fortune is being hosted by Akshay Kumar and will start from January 27. The game show is based on the format of the hit American television show by the same name.
