This is the first time I have relocated to another city for a TV show: Mansi Salvi on being a part of Junooniyatt

Actress Manasi Salvi, who was last seen in the TV show Balika Vadhu 2, which ended in Feb 2022 is now a a part of Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta's Junooniyatt. The actress is playing mother to actor Gautam Vig in the show.

She says, "I have been playing mom to grown-up actors for a long time now, so I don't have any qualms playing one. In Junooniyat, I play a possessive mother, who is very protective about her son. In TV now, they don't make moms look very old, so as long as I am given a stylish look and good costumes, I don't mind it. At the end of the day, the show has to connect with masses and people should love your role."

The entire Junooniyat team is shooting in Chandigarh and Manasi has also relocated. She stays in Chandigarh for 22 days and then returns to Mumbai for a few days. She says, "This is the first time I have relocated for work. Otherwise I have never moved out of the city for work. Thankfully, my daughter has also grown up now and she is independent, so I am enjoying this time in Chandigarh. I haven't got a chance to move around or see the city as we are working the whole day."

Mansi, who has been doing TV for more than two decades has always struck a balance between work and personal life. She said, "I need some time to write and pursue my own interests. Fortunately, I have managed to do that for many years."
