in August 2019 and the two had their wedding scheduled in April 2020. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they had to postpone the wedding. While there’s still time for the wedding to happen, the couple has moved in together in Mumbai. Tina shares with us, “It's been over a year that we have been living together. Initially my parents weren’t okay with the idea of us living together before marriage. But eventually, they understood and now I am more than happy that we took this decision. Living together has strengthened our bond. Not just with Nikhil, but my bond with his family also has become stronger. Sometimes, when Nikhil and I get into an argument, I tell him your family is much better than you (laughs). His parents came to Mumbai recently to spend time with us and his mother is extremely supportive and not the typical mother-in-law that you get to see in movies or daily soaps. So everything is going fine.”

When asked her about her Valentine’s Day plans, she replied, “Since both of us are busy shooting, we celebrated Valentine’s Day in advance i.e. on 12th. We went for a candlelight dinner at a hotel in Juhu.”

Tina also gave us an update on her wedding date. She said, “Nothing is confirmed yet. Since my parents live in Manchester and the UK is still under lockdown, we can’t decide anything. The flights are not operational as of now. Though my father has got the first dose of vaccine, till the time the lockdown is not lifted, nothing can be decided.” Tina is currently playing Vidhi in

. Nikhil, on the other hand, is shooting for a web-series. The two met on the set of Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee, in which they played siblings, and hit it off instantly.
