Tina Philip turns singer; actress says, "I have always been passionate about singing

Actress Tina Philip has found a new interest in singing. She recently recorded a Ganpati aarti and shared it on her social media. She says, "I have always enjoyed singing but I sing God's aartis. I felt that if I wanted to record a song professionally for the first time, I had to start it with a Ganesh aarti. I really enjoyed the process but it isn't an easy job."

So how did she go about recording the song? She says, "Just as acting has its technicalities, singing in a recording room has its challenges. It was my first attempt and I am happy with it. And I would now like to sing more songs. I haven't learnt singing professionally, but I want to do even that."

Last seen in the shows Kumkum Bhagya and Aye Mere Humsafar, Tina is waiting for an interesting project to come her way. She shares, "I have made it a point to only take up shows and projects which touch my heart and give me creative satisfaction. I was offered three shows and I didn't take them up for the same reason. When I started acting, I used to take up whatever came my way but now I am at a place where I can choose. So I want to do interesting work."

She adds, "I don't feel insecure while I am waiting for a project to come my way. If I was just working for money, then I wouldn't have come from London leaving my my job as a chartered accountant."
