Karan Mehra was arrested by
Goregaon
police on Monday (May 31) night after his wife, actor
Nisha Rawal, pressed charges of assault. Karan has been granted bail by the police.
The couple has been married for eight years and have a four year old son. This is the first time Nisha has filed a complaint against her actor-husband.
On Monday night, following a domestic dispute, Mehra allegedly pushed his wife against the wall. She hurt her head following which she approached the police. An

was registered under section 336 and 337 of IPC.
Rumours of the couple going through trouble in their marriage surfaced a few months ago. Up until now, the two had been dismissing it firmly. However, the recent turn of events make it evident that all is certainly not well in their haven.
