Kavita Chaudhary passes away due to cardiac arrest at 67; Amit Behl, Anang Desai mourn to her sudden demise
Veteran TV actress Kavita Chaudhary, who was seen in TV shows Udaan, IPS Diaries and more passed away yesterday (15th February) due to cardiac arrest. The late-actress was also battling with cancer and was undergoing a treatment. The sudden demise of Kavita has shocked many. Close friends Anang Desai and Amit Behl got into an exclusive chat with ETimes TV and reacted to the same. They expressed condolences for her family and mourned to her sudden demise.
Kavita passed way yesterday due to cardiac arrest. The last rites took place this morning (16th February). When we got in touch with Amit Behl, he mentioned how Kavita’s nephew informed that she died of cardiac arrest. Anang and Amit remembered the late actress and memories with her. They even expressed their grief over losing her.
Amit Bhel said, “Kavita ji was our senior in National School of Drama and we were both trained by the same person. We have been to Mumbai a couple of times. She was in Amritsar when she passed away last night. This is a very sad news. She was a very great human, great actor and producer. This is not just a human loss but also the loss of the film fraternity.”
Anagh Desai said, “Kavita and we were classmates at the National School of Drama. Kavita, Anupam, myself, Satish and others, we were all in the same class so I know her since then. I also have many special memories with her. We were socially connected and have met in Mumbai several times. She is remembered for all that she has done. This is very sad news. It’s been a couple of years since we met.”
He further said, “Her treatment was going on but her nephew told me that she passed away due to cardiac arrest. This is a very sad news to all of us.”
On asked about her dues and whether he thinks Kavita deserved more recognition, he said, “Yes I agree, she should have acclaimed more and could have done much work in the industry.”
