Vahbiz Dorabjee-Vivian Dsena to Rashami Desai-Nandish Sandhu: TV celebs who got divorced after a long legal battle

As much as we believe in fairytale weddings and happily ever afters, when a relationship doesn’t work, divorces are equally real. When marriages don’t work, couples decide to part ways for their happy beginnings. But at times, legal battles get dragged for several personal reasons and complications. These couples got divorced after long legal battles.

Four years after they filed for divorce, Vivian Dsena and Vahbiz Dorabjee finally parted ways legally in December, 2021. The two fell in love during the shoot of their TV show, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, and tied the knot in 2013. However, differences cropped up between them a few years later and they filed for divorce in 2017. The case went on for four years, and the two decided to amicably settle matters and move on.

They met on the sets of their show, Uttaran, fell in love and got married in February, 2012. Their relationship hit a rocky patch in 2013, and Rashami decided to file for a divorce. To give another chance to their relationship, they had participated in the couple-based dance reality show, Nach Baliye 7. However, their broken marriage couldn’t be saved as Rashami came out speaking about the domestic violence she faced with Nandish. The couple got separated in the year 2016.

Rajev and Delnaaz had a dreamy wedding in 1998. However, things tourned sour for this bubbly couple and they separated in 2010. Reports claimed different reasons behind their split but it was their constant tiffs that led to the divorce. They officially divorced in 2012.

Shweta Tiwari and Raja Chaudhary had a troublesome married life. Married in 1998, the former couple has daughter Palak together. They had separated in 2007 and divorce came through in 2012. Shweta had accused him of domestic violence.

Chahatt Khanna of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain fame had married Farhan Mirza February 8, 2013 and have two daughters - Zoharr and Ammaayra. She filed for divorce in 2018, alleging “sexual and mental abuse”. In October 2021, the Supreme Court granted protection from arrest to Farhan Shahrukh Mirza, the estranged husband of TV actor Chahatt Khanna, who had levelled allegations of rape and unnatural sex, and also making video of such acts, against him. Their divorce hasn’t come through yet. Mirza claimed his estranged wife is a 'habitual liar' and she had previously adopted the same modus operandi against her former husband/partners, against whom also she filed identical false cases. Chahatt was previously married to Bharat Narsinghani in 2006 but that lasted only a few months.
