Diwali, the festival of lights, represents the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. On this day, people across the country decorate their homes with lights and diyas, make rangolis, and exchange gifts. Popular artists from shows - Vanshaj and Pashminna reminisce about their Diwali celebrations, on-set experiences, and much more.

Anjali Tatrari from Vanshaj who plays Yuvika Mahajan and Gauri Pradhan from Pashminna who plays Preeti have shared what Diwali means for them and what they plan to do this year, and how they celebrate the festival of lights.

Anjali Tatrari, who plays Yuvika Mahajan in Vanshaj, said, “All year, I wait for Diwali as it is a cherished tradition for me. I wholeheartedly participate in age-old customs, from cleaning my home to indulging in a delightful array of Indian sweets. I bring out my fairy lights and enjoy decorating my home with them. One of the things about Diwali that I look forward to is rangoli making and card parties with my friends and the cast of my ongoing show Vanshaj.”

Gauri Pradhan, who plays Preeti in Pashminna, said, “Diwali, for me, has always been a festival of togetherness. It's a time when we come together as a family, light up our homes with diyas, and make the best memories. Although I am going to miss my Pashminna family back in Kashmir, it feels great to be back home for Diwali with my family in Mumbai. I hope this festival brings warmth and happiness to everyone.”
