. The actress will be portraying the

role

of an NRI woman called Neelam Mahendra in '

Tera Yaar Hoon Main

'. Her character is married in an established business family. Neelam will be seen as a well-educated businesswoman, who is cultured, full of values and soft spoken by nature.

Talking about her role, Neelam said, "It is the role of a mother, who is strong-headed and cultured. I love challenging characters, which have different shades."

She added, “Comedy is my forte and I have good comic timing, but I am open to any interesting opportunity that comes my way.”

There are talks of her TV show 'Pavitra Bhagya' going off air, but the actress denies it. She said, “Honestly, I have no information about the show going off air as nothing is confirmed as yet. It is a good show as it showcases the struggle that happens due to the generation gap between children and parents in a beautiful way.”
