Actor Vibhav Roy recently returned from a Europe trip and says Christmas there feels immersive and constant. “I just got back from Europe, and I couldn’t get over the Christmas vibe in every city I visited,” he shares. “The streets are glowing, there are fairy lights everywhere, and even on cold winter nights, the atmosphere feels warm.”
For hin, it wasn’t just about sightseeing. “The coffee, the chocolates, the desserts, the hot chocolate — everything adds to the season. The lights, the flavours, the overall mood… Christmas just gets me going,” he says. Vibhav adds that the festive spirit follows him wherever he travels. “I’m often on the move during this time of the year, but somehow Christmas always finds me — at airports, shopping centres, or city streets.”

Christmas, he says, has always held personal meaning. “Through the idea of Santa, my mum taught me about karma — that if you do good, good eventually comes back to you,” the actor reflects. “I still believe there’s a Santa somewhere, quietly watching and rewarding us in ways we may not even notice.”
Talking about what he enjoys most, he says, “I love Christmas markets, decorations, and just walking around, taking it all in.
There’s something calming about wandering through festive corners without any agenda.”
On the professional front, he began his acting career with Gustaakh Dil, and went on to appear in shows like Doli Armaano Ki, Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan, and Shaitani Rasmein. He has also been part of films such as Padmaavat and Lashtam Pashtam.
