She will be seen playing the role of Chandragupta's foster mother,

. According to an entertainment portal, she will essay the character of a simple lady who will run her house with the help of cows.

Papya Sengupta will be seen portraying the role of Chandragupta's mother. She will hide young Chandra in the forest and when Kanika will see him, she will take him with her and will raise him.

Rajat Tokas and Shweta Prasad Basu will be seen playing the lead role in the show.
