Taking to her personal vlog, Mahhi Vij said the whole concept of alimony feels off to her. If someone does something for someone out of love, the case is different. But just assuming to have a right to someone else’s earned money, just because you are separated, doesn’t make much sense to her. “I don’t even understand what alimony is,” she said before elaborating, “I am talking as a woman. I think it is not our right. It is earned by him, and it is his money. If someone wants to take care of you with love, then well and good. But it is permissible for women who are housewives. “Women who have no work and have never gone to work, it is permissible for them. But you can work. I think you should get up, work, and earn for yourself. Because when the paths separate, you should earn for yourself,” she mentioned

Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vijj to have shared custody of their children

In their joint statement, the former couple shared that for the betterment of their kids, they will have joint custody.
Also, despite them moving forward in their respective lives, they will continue to support each other and have respect for one another in their hearts.“For the sake of our children—Tara, Khushi, and Rajveer—we pledge to be the best parents, friends, and whatever else is necessary to do what’s right for them. Though we are walking separate paths, there are no villains in this story, and no negativity attached to our decision. We kindly ask for your love, respect, and understanding as we move forward,” they shared.
