Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has seen some of its finest talent leave the show in the last couple of years. From Shailesh Lodha to Disha Vakani, these actors are now busy creating a space for themselves outside of the sitcom. Here's what has kept them busy...

After his exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Shailesh Lodha has been travelling across the country for his live tours. He has also met several prominent personalities from all walks of life. The actor also loves to treat his followers to his wonderful shayari and poems on Instagram.

Priya Ahuja Rajda played the role of Rita reporter on the show. She confessed in her recent interview with ETimes TV that artists on the show have gone through mental harassment but her problem was more about her role's length after she got married. She said that no one misbehaved with her on set but in terms of her work, she was told by Asit Modi, "Arre tujhe kaam karne ki kya zarurat hai Malav is working na." Priya is now seen in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein and is also busy with social media endorsements and has pretty much become a part of the growing influencer community.

The first to have openly accused Asit Modi and the production house, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal hasn't really announced any new project but the actress is active on social media and pens inspiring notes for her followers.

Neha Mehta, who played Anjali in Taarak Mehta, left the show in 2020. It came as a huge shock to her fans. The actress cited personal reasons but later revealed that her dues were not cleared by the makers. She has been away from television for the last couple of years but has done a Gujarati film. She is waiting for a good offer to come her way. Meanwhile, she keeps herself busy attending several events across the country.

Gurucharan Singh Sodhi, who also quit due to payment issues, hasn't appeared on TV ever since he left in 2020. The actor is active on social media and has his own YT channel. He had recently sought prayers of his fans for his father's speedy recovery after he fell down.

Monika Bhadoriya is yet another actress, who left a couple of years ago due to behavioural and monetary issues with the makers. The actress recently gave several interviews accusing makers of the same. On the work front, she has been busy travelling and doing glam photoshoots.

Disha Vakani, who left over 5 years ago for maternity break, hasn't returned to the show. While the actress is busy with her babies, Monika Bhadoriya recently told a channel that her reasons for not coming back could be the same as others.

From music videos to brand endorsements, Raj Anadkat is now a social media influencer. The actor is doing pretty well for himself after quitting Taarak Mehta. He also loves to connect with his fans and posts vlogs for them on his YT channel.
