Commuting from work to home in a city like Mumbai often takes hours, and so many prefer to read. Quiz Tannaz if she also enjoys her quick reading time while travelling? “Earlier, when I used to commute I would read in my car but anymore as it becomes strenuous. Also, now social media has taken that habit, plus it’s less

“I love books that transport me to a different place, is very factual, and has a lot of substance in it,” feels the

actor. She further adds, “The book needs to teach me something worldly-wise even it talks about the darker side of life. Being an actor you are very limited to the exposure you have or the kind of friends you have but books often help me to fill this gap. The funny part is I have read so many books, but I often forget the name of the books. “
Talking about the changes that reading has brought in her life, Tannaz says, “It has vocabulary and the way I express myself. I write very well and know when the writing isn’t working very well. I write essays and letters very well and I think I want to pass it down to my children as well. Reading has opened up a new arena in my life.”
