Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress Avantika Hundal's father Navtej Hundal passed away in Mumbai. He breathed his last on Monday (April 8) evening. Navtej Hundal was an actor by profession and was last seen in Bollywood’s film Uri: The Surgical Strike.

CINTAA's Cine And TV Artistes' Association Twitter handle shared about his demise, "#CINTAA expresses its deepest condolence on the demise of Shri Navtej Hundal. May his soul rest in peace. The cremation is at Oshiwara Crematorium, Relief Road, Prakash Nagar, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Jogeshwari (W) at 11 am."



Apart from acting, the late actor also taught acting. He has featured in other Bollywood films like 'Khalnayak' (1993), 'Tere Mere Sapne' (1996). He is survived by his wife Neelam and two daughters Avantika and Faaya.

Avantika plays the role of Mihika in the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein which stars Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi in lead roles.
