Yeh Hai Mohabbatein fame Ruhaanika Dhawan gets emotional as her Ishima aka Divyanka Tripathi is all set to welcome her first baby
Divyanka Tripathi and her husband Vivek Dahiya are expecting their first child in June this year. The couple hosted a baby shower for their friends and family on April 5, which turned out to be a star-studded affair. The event was attended by many of Divyanka’s co-stars and industry friends, who were seen having a great time. Ruhaanika Dhawan, who played Divyanka's onscreen daughter Ruhi in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein also attended the baby shower and shared an emotional post on her Instagram account for the mom-to-be. The young actress seems to have got emotional as her reel mother Ishima aka Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya is all set to welcome her first baby.
Sharing a carousel post on her social media account, Ruhaanika expressed her emotions as Divyanka gears up to enter a new chapter of her life.
She wrote, “They say moms are the best part of life, and I somehow lucked out with two. Today was so special, watching my on-screen Ishima step into motherhood off-screen. @divyankatripathidahiya , you’ve been a mother to me since the day we met. I can’t think of anyone cooler or more inspiring to take on this journey.”
The actress shared a series of throwback photos from the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein featuring Divyanka and herself. In the first photo, young Ruhanika and Divyanka are seen posing inside a car. The image is very adorable. The second picture shows Ruhaanika hugging Divyanka at her recent baby shower ceremony. In one of the photos, Ruhaanika is also seen posing with Divyanka’s parents at the baby shower ceremony.
Other photos are from Ruhaanika’s younger days with her Ishima.
For the uninitiated, Divyanka Tripathi and Ruhaanika Dhawan's mother-daughter relationship became quite popular after their stint as Ishima and little Ruhi on the show “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”.
The show also starred Karan Patel, Anita Hassanandani and Aditi Bhatia, Aly Goni. The main storyline of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein revolved around Ishita Iyer, a dentist played by Divyanka Tripathi and Raman Bhalla, a Punjabi businessman portrayed by Karan Patel, who live in the same society as neighbours. Ishita struggles with infertility and faces challenges in finding a suitable partner. On the other hand, Raman is a divorcee and a single father to his young daughter, Ruhi.
