Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Shivangi Joshi opens up about dating men from within the industry; says 'What truly matters is the person'

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Shivangi Joshi, who is known for her powerful performances and enjoys a strong fan following, recently opened up about love and dating in today’s times. During a podcast interview with Honestly, Why Not by Balaji Telefilms, Shivangi was asked about her opinions on dating men from the entertainment industry. Responding to the question, the actress shared that she doesn’t think love has anything to do with the industry or profession.

Speaking about the same, Shivangi shared, "I don't think its about the industry, or about the profession. I think it is not about the profession. According to me, what truly matters is the person, the respect, understanding, love, and values they bring into a relationship. The profession really doesn’t matter."

For the uninitiated, Shivangi was previously rumoured to be dating her Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star Mohsin Khan and Barsatein actor Kushal Tandon. The actress shared a crackling on-screen chemistry with both her co-stars. While Shivangi never confirmed both the relationships, Mohsin and Kushal both had apparently called their bond with Shivangi special

Shivangi became a household name after essaying the character of Naira in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She played the on-screen daughter of Akshara (Hina Khan). Shivangi's pairing with Mohsin Khan was one the most loved jodis on Indian television in 2017.

Apart from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Shivangi Joshi has been part of several other projects, including Balika Vadhu 2, Bekaboo, and more. She also participated in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 12.

The actress, who was last seen in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain with Harshad Chopda, is currently away from the small screen. She was recently spotted at Rajan Shahi's party with Mohsin Khan and their fans were thrilled to see them together.
