‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ April 12 written update: Abhira wakes up and tells Armaan the truth about Meher

The episode begins with Mukti crying over her mother lying in a hospital bed. She tries to tell the doctor and screams at him that her mother cannot die. She tries her level best to wake Abhira and keeps on screaming. Meanwhile, at home, Armaan prays in front of god to keep Abhira safe and to ensure that nothing happens to her. All of a sudden, the monitor at the hospital starts beeping, and the doctors start treating Abhira.

Armaan and Kaveri arrive at the hospital

At home, Tanya tells Armaan that she has not gotten any update about Abhira. Armaan starts getting worried and tells everyone that he has to go and see Abhira. Vidya tries to stop him; however, Kaveri interrupts her and tells Armaan that she will go as well. Armaan slams his pagdi and tells everyone that he cares more about Abhira and goes to the hospital.




As Armaan and Kaveri arrive, they see Mukti crying and panicking. As soon as she sees them, she hugs Armaan and tells them everything that she did as per the doctor’s instructions. She continues to cry and asks everyone if Abhira will be fine or not. Kaveri tells her that her mother will be okay no matter what. Armaan also reassures her and tells her that she has to calm down and that Abhira is in good hands.

Mukti says that she needs to get her mother’s lucky keychain from her hostel, to which Kaveri replies that she will take her. Mukti then makes Armaan promise that he will not leave Abhira alone. Armaan promises, and the two leave for the hostel.

Abhira wakes up

Meanwhile, Vidya and everyone else worry about where Armaan is and whether he will return on time or not. They hide everything from Maira and say that he is with Kartik and Aryan. Tanya taunts Vidya and says that Armaan should not get married to Meher, while Vidya gets angry and tells her to mind her language and manners.

In the hospital, Abhira finally wakes up after Armaan sings and talks to her. She keeps on panicking and tries to tell him the truth. She tells him that she had proof that Meher was the one behind Mukti’s father’s death, and she was also the one who attacked her during the wedding procession. She tells him to believe her, to which Armaan looks helplessly at her and says that he believes in everything she is saying. Abhira also informs him that she had solid proof of Meher’s wrongdoings that she was going to expose in front of everyone at the wedding.

The preview for the next episode shows Vidya calling Armaan and insisting that he come back. However, Armaan tells everyone that he cannot marry Meher.
