‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ February 18 written update: Armaan and Abhira almost meet at their daughter’s hostel

In the latest episode of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, Abhira heads to Mukti’s new school to fulfill the required formalities. She fills out the admissions form. However, it is visibly upset when it comes to filling in Mukti’s father’s name in one of the sections of the form. Armaan is also at the school and is asked by the principal to wait outside and instead fill out the hostel room. As Armaan and Abhira rush around the school, they almost end up bumping into one another; however, they do not see each other’s faces. They both feel a weird sense of recognition and look around for each other. When Abhira meets the principal, she is asked for Mukti’s full name, and in a passing moment, she almost blurts out Maira’s name. However, she corrects herself and fills out Mukti’s full name. As the two submit the official papers, they both fail to spot one another again. Nearby, Neeraj spots Armaan and tries to make conversation, but the latter ends up ignoring him and leaving. Maira waits by the car to meet Armaan and say goodbye, though the driver informs her that he has already left. Abhira is also unable to meet Mukti one last time as her induction has started. The later scenes show Mukti, Maira, Abhira, and Armaan all crying about the school situation and about how they were not able to say goodbye properly. Armaan feels guilty about lying to Maira, while she vows to control her behaviour and make Armaan proud. Mukti and Abhira cry and feel remorseful about not being able to say one last bye to each other. Back at the hostel, Mukti and Maira finally meet, not knowing who the other person truly is. Mukti offers a tissue to Maira as the two of them try to control their tears. Later on, the two girls banter about something, and in anger, throw each other’s bags around. The warden warns them of strict action and tells them to go to their rooms. The next episode’s promo reveals that Armaan and Abhira miss Maira and Mukti, respectively, and even sneak into the hostel to meet their daughters. While trying to navigate their way around, the lights go out in the hostel. Abhira ends up bumping into Abhira, while Armaan ends up bumping into Mukti.
