'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' opens with
Vidya alone with her thoughts, turning over what happened between
Arman and Abhira and working herself into a quiet panic. She worries that if Arman marries Abhira, Abhira will bring Vani back into their lives. The moment is interrupted when Myra overhears and screams, demanding to know if Arman actually proposed and whether Abhira is coming back permanently. Vidya realises Myra was not supposed to hear any of this and quickly tells her to calm down, assuring her she will not let Abhira ruin their lives again. Aryan walks in at the wrong moment, takes a call, and asks them both to hold their conversation for later.
Two people lost in the same memory
Abhira and Arman are each somewhere else entirely, both of them replaying the past in their heads, and both of them devastated by what they find there. When Abhira pulls herself back to the present, Kaveri asks her to finish making her idol for Gangaur. Damyanti watches. Kaveri, looking at Abhira at work, drifts into a daydream where she sees Abhira and Arman together, with Lord Shiv and Goddess Parvati blessing them as a couple. When she comes back to reality and finds Abhira standing there alone, the contrast hits her hard.
Arman turns his pain outward
Arman's emotional state spills over when he confronts Krish for ignoring Kaveri's medical report. Krish says he forgot, and Arman does not let it go, telling him that forgetting is not an option when it comes to Kaveri's health. Sanjay quietly tells Arman that Disha's family is watching, but Arman is past caring. Manoj steps in and takes Nakul and Disha's family aside before the situation escalates further. After the confrontation, Tanya asks Arman about the report he was so upset about, and he tells her Kaveri's health is actually improving and that she will be well enough to enjoy Aryan's wedding. It is a reminder that beneath the anger, his concern for Kaveri is real and constant.
Abhira makes her decision
Abhira goes to Madhav and confronts him about the change she has noticed in Arman since she came back. Madhav tells her plainly that since she left eight years ago, Arman has not been the same, and he worries about what the future holds for him. The weight of that lands on Abhira visibly. She goes to Kaveri and tells her directly that, since her health is improving, it is time for her to leave. She says that after Gangaur, Disha's family will learn the truth, and there will be no reason for her to stay. Arman, nearby, watches her walk away.
A message from Myra changes everything
When Myra calls Abhira and says she wants to meet her, the reaction is immediate and completely unguarded. Abhira lights up. Tanya and Kaveri are caught up in her excitement. Arman notices Abhira looking genuinely happy for the first time and wonders quietly whether she has been praying for Vani all along, his thoughts still reaching for explanations that keep him at a distance from the truth.
At the Gangaur ghat, the family gathers and Abhira dances. Damyanti teases Arman about his wife being missing, Aryan points to Abhira dancing, and Arman watches her with a look he does not quite manage to hide. Kaveri asks him to go join her.
Meher sets her trap
Behind the scenes, Meher has gone to pick Myra up from her hostel. Myra asks nervously if everyone has arrived. Meher tells her to wait outside so Arman does not see her, tells her not to get nervous, and calls her strong. What Meher does not say, but the episode makes clear, is that she is positioning Myra as the instrument of her plan, ready to send Abhira directly into a confrontation she has engineered from start to finish.
Precap: Myra confronts Abhira and tells her she is eight years too late, that Arman does not deserve her, and she should stay away from him. Abhira is shattered. Arman steps forward, stops Myra, and stands beside Abhira, leaving Myra stunned.
