The episode of
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
begins with Swarna and
Kartik
returning home and find the entire family worried. Swarna and Kartik tell them that they have made a decision and that is final now.At the Singhania house, Naira's family tries their best to find the cure for Naira's health.
Naira
imagines Kartik near her who asks her why she wants him to go away when she needs him.
Later Bhabhima suggests telling Kartik of Naira's ailment. Naira is against the same and thinks that she does not know how Kartik will react to it and may get emotional. Kartik gets annoyed as he remembers Naira betraying him.
Naksh gets an appointment for Naira's check up in Singapore. They all go to the temple to pray for their daughter. Kartik walks up and hands over his wedding card to Naira. He says that Ashi's boyfriend has left her at the court right at the time when they went to get married. He further states that he shall be getting married to Ashi now.
He asks Naira to come for his wedding. Naira prays for Kartik while everybody stands shocked. At home, Devyani is angry at Kartik for his behaviour but Naitik defends Kartik by saying that the latter is hurt as Naira did not get married to him. Naitik further says that Kartik is being punished for no fault of his. Naira listens to this. Bhabhi maa is worried that problems between Naira and Kartik are affecting Kirti's relationship with Naksh.
At Goenka mansion, Ashi tries to calm down an emotionally disturbed Kartik and tells that she is there for him always and Manish asks Swarna to stop Kartik from taking such a drastic step. Swarna thinks of Naira's words.
